Natalie Brown has come a long way from dancing in high school plays in Timmins, Ontario. Since her first commercial (the epic Heinz Ketchup's "Slide," which aired over a span of 20 years), Brown has starred in over 60 campaigns and is currently the voice of Advil and McCafé. Brown's roles in film and television have been as diverse as a vampire opposite David Carradine, to the charmingly imperfect single mom in her hit CBC series, "Sophie." Since the success of “Sophie,” she's been Gemini-nominated for both "Best Comedic Performance in a Comedy" and "Canada's Hottest Star." She earned the latter title in Hello! Magazine Canada, and has been deemed Canada's "It Girl," by Fashion and AMOI Magazines, as well as "Best Dressed" by E.T. Canada.
She has dedicated her time as a spokesperson for Doctors of the World Canada, volunteering on their missions to Haiti and Dominican Republic. Her emotional account of her mission was published in Hello! Magazine. She continued her charitable work through her involvement with "Heart Truth" fashion shows, and Steven Lewis' "A Dare to Remember."
Brown had a recurring role in the ABC drama, "Happy Town," and a supporting role in "The Shadow Island Mysteries," a series for W and Movie Central. She has also guest starred in numerous television series including CTV/CBS's "Flashpoint," "Covert Affairs,” MTV’s "Skins," “Lost Girl,” Lifetime’s “Against The Wall,” “The Republic of Doyle” and Syfy’s “Being Human.” Brown also starred in the Hallmark Channel Original Movies “Fairfield Road” and “Cancel Christmas” opposite Judd Nelson.
