Originally born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Jere Burns attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. With over 30 years of acting experience, Burns has made a name for himself with roles in television, film, and theatre.
Burns’ television credits include guest star roles in “Just Shoot me,” “Touched by an Angel,” “Las Vegas,” “Will and Grace” and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and recurring guest roles in “All of Us,” “Boston Legal,” “According to Jim,” “Justified” and “Breaking Bad.” He was also a series regular in “Good Morning Miami” and “Surviving Suburbia.”
His television movies include “Eye of the Stalker,” “Road Rage” and “Life-Size” opposite Tyra Banks and Lindsay Lohan. Burns has also had the lead roles in feature films such as “Crocodile Dundee in LA,” “What’s Up Scarlet?” and “2:13.”
Burns has starred in many theatrical productions, including "Hairspray," "Diva," "Sarcophagus," and "Don Juan."
