John Schneider has a television series for every generation; from Bo on “Dukes of Hazzard” in the 80s, to Jonathan Kent on “Smallville” and now Judge Jim Cryer in the smash Tyler Perry hit “The Haves and the Have Nots.” Over the last three decades, he’s also been in numerous movies for television and the big screen.

John’s focused more, in recent years, on making his own films. His movie “Smothered,” a comedy horror story directed by John, has received great reviews, and is scheduled for released March 29, 2016 in the US.

While shooting “Smothered” on location in Holden, Louisiana, John had the idea to establish the John Schneider Studios. He then purchased the 58 acres, and has since completed filming on three more films, “Like Son,” “Anderson Bench,” and “Inadmissable,” all of which are now in the editing process.

John is also passionate about helping aspiring storytellers. He’s even started a film mentorship program at the studio.
