Hugh O'Connor’s first film appearance was opposite Liam Neeson in the 1985 movie “Lamb.”  His next major film role was in the 1988 film adaptation of Hugh Leonard's Tony-winning play Da in which he played the youthful version of Martin Sheen. O'Connor then went on to star in Jim Sheridan’s “My Left Foot” opposite Daniel Day Lewis. He played the Boy King Louis in the 1993 remake of “The Three Musketeers” and then went on to play the lead role in Ben Ross' dark British comedy “The Young Poisoner's Handbook.”  Other film work includes “Chocolat,” “Thirteen,” “Re-Uniting the Rubins” and most recently “Killing Bono.”
