Richard Harmon is a world-class actor, consistently working with Hollywood elite. Born in Mississauga, Ontario, Harmon began acting professionally when he was only 10 years old, but it took him until he was 15 to fall in love with the craft and hit his stride as a thespian. Acting was a natural career choice for Harmon whose mother is Cynde Harmon, producer and former actor, father is director Allan Harmon and older sister is actor Jessica Harmon (The CW’s “The 100,” “iZombie”).
His numerous recurring and guest star appearances include roles on shows such as The CW’s “Smallville” and “The Secret Circle;” Syfy’s “Jeremiah,” “Flash Gordon” and “Caprica;” Fox’s “Fringe;” Cartoon Network’s “Tower Prep;” Showcase’s “Continuum;” A&E’s “Bates Motel;” CBS’ “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation;” Netflix’s “Van Helsing;” AMC’s crucially acclaimed “The Killing;” and “A Cinderella Story Starstruck” for HBO Max. Harmon also starred as John Murphy in The CW’s “The 100,” a post-apocalyptic drama set 97 years after the earth was destroyed by a nuclear war which enjoyed a seven-season run.
He has appeared alongside Blake Lively and Harrison Ford in the romantic drama Age of Adaline and Anna Paquin in the horror film Trick ‘r Treat. Harmon also wowed audiences alongside David James Elliott in Rufus. More recently, he was in the feature films The Clinic alongside Darby Stanchfield, Woodland, for which also served as executive producer, I Still See You, opposite Bella Thorne Darkness Falls opposite Shawn Ashmore and Gary Cole and The Return with Sara Thompson. Harmon also stars beside Madison Pettis in the upcoming Margaux.
