An American born in Germany and raised in Colorado, Scott Elrod’s claim to fame is his recurring role in the ABC series “Men in Trees.” In the show, he plays ‘Cash,’ the friend and occasional love interest of Anne Heche’s character. Before landing the role, Elrod appeared in episodes of “CSI: NY,” “Days of our Lives” and the WB’s “The Starlet.” He was also a series regular in the series “Desire.”
In 2008, he starred as ‘Rex Waverly’ in “Tricks of a Woman.” The film won five Angel Awards at the Monaco International Film Festival, including Best Picture. This year, he stars in the Sci-Fi Channel feature “Hellhounds.”
Aside from acting, Elrod keeps himself busy. A licensed pilot, he served in the U.S. Air Force for six years. He is also a professional racecar driver and motorcycle racer. Elrod currently resides in Los Angeles.
