Distinguished actor Larry Dane got his start in acting in the early 1960s and has had a steady and successful career in television and film for more than 40 years. Originally from Quebec, Dane has starred in series both in Canada and the United States, and was nominated for Canada’s Genie Award in 1980 for his role as Coach Walker in the sports drama, “Running,” alongside Michael Douglas.

Dane’s other feature film credits include suspense thrillers “Happy Birthday To Me,” “Bride of Chucky” and “Rituals,” which Dane also produced in 1977. He has had lead roles in “Of Unknown Origin” for Warner Brothers, “The Fall,” “King’s Ransom” and, most recently, “Behind the Wall,” in 2008.

Dane has also had many highly acclaimed roles on television. He has enjoyed guest starring roles on “Street Legal,” “The Outer Limits,” “Side Effects” and “Queer as Folk.” His television movie credits include “Amy Fisher: My Story” for NBC, “Double Jeopardy,” and “Too Rich: The Doris Duke Story,” with Lauren Bacall. Most recently, he has had roles in several movies made for the Lifetime network, including “Everything She Ever Wanted,” “Absolution,” “Still Small Voices” and “Crossing the Line.”
