John Corbett earned an Emmy nomination for his five-year stint on the television series "Northern Exposure." He became a pop culture icon thanks to playing Sarah Jessica Parker’s former fiancé, Aidan, on HBO’s "Sex and the City," and Nia Vardalos’ avid suitor in the hit film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." More recently he’s been seen in Showtime’s "United States of Tara," opposite Toni Collette; he has a recurring role in "Parenthood." He starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame film "November Christmas," opposite Sam Elliott and Sarah Paulson. His feature film "Ramona and Beezus" opened in July 2010. A dedicated musician, his debut album – a mix of country and Southern rock – was released in 2006.
