Sante Scaletta was born April 23, 1995 in Ottawa, Ontario where he resides with his identical twin brother Dominic, younger sister Bianca and his parents. His father of Italian heritage is a sales executive and small business owner. Scaletta’s mother is a teacher and sales representative with a keen interest in the Arts.
Scaletta is being raised in a Catholic environment and has benefited from an elementary school that valued the Arts which led him to the key role in the musical The Passion of Christ playing Jesus Christ. His twin brother played opposite him in the role of Judas. This was Scaletta’s true foray into drama at the tender age of 12 and he has not looked back. Scaletta performed this play at six Ottawa elementary schools and for the Ottawa Catholic School Board. The production was also documented and featured by the Ottawa Citizen.
Scaletta was accepted into the Drama program of the esteemed Canterbury High School of Performing Arts. His recent work includes the feature film “My Family’s Secret,” an Xbox commercial with the Jonas Brothers, a NIKE “Force Fate” commercial (with his twin brother by his side) featuring Jerome Iginla promoting the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and a Coke print ad also for the Olympics.
Scaletta is passionate about his family, his faith, sports (in particular hockey and golf) and his desire to be the best actor he can on film and the stage.
