Mark Webber is one of the most intriguing actors of his generation. At 28, he’s worked with some of Hollywood’s most impressive talents and has been successful in all fields of the business including writing, directing and producing, in addition to acting on both stage and screen.
Most recently, Webber played Stephen Sills in the Universal comedic feature “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.” Based on the graphic novel by Bryan Lee O’Malley, the film centers on a young slacker who falls in love with Ramona Flowers and must fight her seven evil ex¬boyfriends to win her hand.
Webber is not only an accomplished actor, in 2008 he wrote and directed his first feature “Explicit Ills,” which was executive produced by Jim Jarmusch and starred Rosario Dawson, Paul Dano, Lou Taylor Pucci and Tariq Trotter. The film won the audience award at The South by Southwest Film Festival and later was released theatrically by Peace Arch Entertainment.
