Lara Gilchrist is a Canadian actress best known for her varied performances in television, theatre and film. She has had recurring roles on "Battlestar Galactica," "Fantastic Four," "Exes and Ohs" and "Defying Gravity," and has guest starred in several hit television shows, including "Supernatural," "Psych," "Smallville" and "Stargate Atlantis."
Trained at Studio 58 and the Royal Conservatory, Gilchrist can add singing, classic piano, and dance to her repertoire of skills. Her theatre credits include Hamlet for Studio 58, Bard on the Beach productions of The Merry Wives of Windsor, Much Ado About Nothing, Love's Labour Lost and As You Like It, and Touchstone Theatre's production of Hippies and Bolsheviks, for which she received a Jesse Award Nomination for Best Lead Actress.
Gilchrist's has also starred in several made-for-TV movies, including "The Last Trimester" for Lifetime, "The Haunting of Sorority Row" and, most recently, "Meteor Storm." Her feature credits include two shorts, "The Gray Matter" and "Kaleid," and a lead role in "The Seamstress."
