Ron Lea

Born in Montreal, Ron Lea has made a name for himself on television in acclaimed series "Doc" and "Street Legal," for which he won a Gemini Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 1995.   
  
Lea attended Concordia University before moving on to take acting training at the National Theatre School.  His training landed him various local theatre roles, before he went on to star in several television series, movies and feature films, winning him three Gemini Award nominations and two Gemini Awards over the span of his career. 
  
Some of Lea's television credits include guest star roles on "Due South," "Supernatural," "Smallville" and "Flashpoint," for which he was nominated for a Gemini award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.  Lea has also had roles in "Shattered," "Reaper," "Tell Me You Love Me," "This is Wonderland," Diagnosis Murder," "The Practice" and "Sue Thomas FB Eye."   
  
Lea can also add a long list of television credits to his name, including, most recently, "The Phantom," "Impact," "Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning," "The Quality of Life," and a Gemini Award-nominated role in "Victor" for CBC TV. 
  
But the silver screen isn't Lea's only home.  He has also enjoyed work on the big screen, with roles in feature films including "Saw IV," "The Punisher," "Steel Toes," "The Recruit" and "The Sentinel," among many others.
