THINGS (Netflix), NORTHERN RESCUE (Netfilix), OCTOBER FACTION (Netflix), BURDEN OF TRUTH (CBC), RUNNING FOR HER LIFE (Incendo) and the Youtube original series IMPULSE. She recurred as an arms dealer in DESIGNATED SURVIVOR and as the U.S. President in the hit series NIKITA, as well as the Crown Attorney in THE REPUBLIC OF DOYLE. She garnered great reviews as the lead in HBO Canada’s series ZONE OF SEPARATION, playing a tough edged United Nations Peacekeeper.
Additional features include The Time Traveler's Wife, Red, Lucid, and Show Me, among others. Nolden also spent five seasons in the series regular role of Dr. Dawn Bell on the critically acclaimed CTV drama SAVING HOPE as well as five seasons in the recurring role of U.S. attorney Robin Brooks on the CBS show NUM3ERS. Selected guest roles include SUITS, REX, LOST GIRL, COVERT AFFAIRS, CRACKED, THE LISTENER, MURDOCH MYSTERIES, C.S.I. MIAMI, EVERWOOD, and CROSSING JORDAN.
Nolden was nominated in 2015 and won a 2016 Canadian Screen Award for her work on SAVING HOPE. She has been nominated for an ACTRA award for her performance in the Canadian blockbuster Men with Brooms, as well as Gemini awards for her portrayal of Hadley Hemingway in HEMINGWAY VS CALLAGHAN, and a drug addicted mother in ROOKIE BLUE. She was a series regular on STREET TIME, where she co-starred with Rob Morrow and Terrence Howard and is the lead of the Christmas favourite Come Dance With Me with Andrew McCarthy.
Michelle is the Artistic Director of the Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival which enjoyed its 10th anniversary last season. She has written and directed multiple short films including Loonie which won the NSI online Film Festival and garnered ACTRA nominations for both lead actors. Michelle recently hosted, wrote and directed FREE RANGE CHILDREN which follows the exploits of Nolden and her family as they figure out how to become backyard chicken farmers. It's a rare glimpse into the real life of Michelle and can be found on BELL FIBE TV on Channel 1 or on the BELL FIBE TV APP.
