Born in Garland, Texas and raised in Houston, Crystal Bernard began her career in a Pepsi commercial. After appearing as a roller-skating hooker in the Garry Marshall film “Young Doctors In Love,” she joined the cast of “Happy Days.” She has also been a series regular in the hit television sitcoms “It’s A Living” and “Wings.”
Bernard has starred in a number of telefilms including “Without Her Consent,” “When Will I Be Loved,” “Miracle Child,” “A Matter of Trust,” “Dying To Be Perfect: The Ellen Hart Pena Story” and “A Face To Kill For.” She also took on the lead role of Annie Oakley in the Broadway production of “Annie Get Your Gun.”
A songwriter since she was 14-years-old, Bernard has recorded two albums, including the hit single “Forever Tonight,” a duet with Peter Cetera, which stayed on the pop charts for 26 weeks.
Bernard writes music, sings, dances, and adores her dog, Cody.
