Lindsay Hartley was born and raised in Rancho Mirage, CA. As a child, she participated in beauty pageants while admiring the talents of her idols Judy Garland and Natalie Wood. She won several national vocal competitions, including the L.A. Philharmonic's Award-Vocal/Opera. After graduating high school early and with honors, Hartley attended the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.
Hartley appeared in "Grease" on Broadway as Sandy in 1996. In 1999, she won the role of Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on "Passions," filming almost 1300 episodes until 2008. Hartley also co-wrote the song "Kiss Me," which she performed on "Passions" in 2000. Following her work on "Passions," she was cast as Arianna Hernandez in "Days of Our Lives" until 2010, when she was chosen to play the role of Cara Martin on "All My Children."
Hartley has made appearances on various award shows, including The Emmys, Teen Choice Awards, and Soap Opera Digest Awards as well as being featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She has also been seen in guest starring roles on the hit TV series "Smallville" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and played the role of Stephanie in the feature film "The Challenger."
Hartley reprised the role of Cara Martin in "All My Children," which premiered on April 29th, 2013 on Hulu and iTunes. She is thrilled to be playing the role of Natalie in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie "Perfect On Paper."
She is also the proud mother of daughter Isabella.
