Anna Chlumsky

Jennifer

Anna Chlumsky entered show business at a young age, starting as a model with her mother in an advertisement.  Although perhaps best known for playing Vada Sultenfuss alongside Dan Akyroyd and Macaulay Caulkin in the 1991 movie “My Girl,” and it’s sequel “My Girl 2” in 1994, Chlumsky refused to be typecast, adding a long list of theatre, television and film credits to her resume in the past decade.

After a brief hiatus from acting to attend the University of Chicago, Chlumsky ultimately decided to return to the stage and screen, receiving formal training at the Atlantic Acting School in Manhattan.  Chlumsky’s New York stage credits include Love, Loss, and What I Wore for the Westside Theatre, So Help Me God, Unconditional for Philip Seymour Hoffman's theater group LAByrinth Theater Company, The Fabulous Life of a Size Zero, Darwin in Malibu at the Bay Street Theatre, The Butcherhouse Chronicles for the Summer Play Festival, Balm in Gilead for the Barefoot Theater Company, Half Life, Iphigeneia at Aulis, Measure for Measure, No Alarms: Headfullofradio and The Trojan Women.

A winner of four Young Actor Awards, and an MTV Movie Award, Chlumsky is no stranger to the screen.  Her varied television credits include: “Covert Affairs”, the CBS pilots “The Quinn-Tuplets” and “House Rules,” the ABC dramedy “Cupid,” a guest-star role on NBC’s hit comedy “30 Rock," “Law & Order,” “Eight Days a Week” and “Twelve Men of Christmas.”

Chlumsky has also been in several feature films, including “In The Loop,” “The Good Guy,” “Blood Car,” “Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain,” “A Child’s Wish” and the Glamour Reel short “Wait.”  Most recently, she starred in “My Sweet Misery,” “Eavesdrop” and “The Pill.”
